Watching the World

Bulova of New York 14k gold filled watch case, patented January 11, 1927, Vintage pocket watch and wristwatch parts, leather.

My first attempt at a brooch, inspired by the Art Deco watch case, it reminded me of the windows in beautiful buildings of the period. I love how cats claim windows to watch out over their kingdoms and so this piece was born.
