Double Strength

I was delighted to be a gifted a box of ephemera by a lovely lady who thought I’d be able to use it, and she was absolutely correct! Amongst the contents was a single broken earring made of silver set with a beautiful moonstone and amethyst. Researching moonstone, I learned that it is of the feldspar group, that ancient Romans believed it to be of solidified moonbeams and that it promotes emotional stability, inner growth and strength. My infatuation with chain mail – an obvious show of strength, led me to upcycle the earring to become this necklace.
