Gilbert N Sullivan (past pirate of Pen-Dant) came about whilst I was dismantling a vintage watch.

The case looked to me a bit like an old picture frame in need of a portrait. Wanting something a little bit classic but different, this is the result.

His “good” eye is a watch jewel, his teeth are a clock cog, and his patch is rescued upholstery leather.
